The Deceiver

My inspiration for “The Deceiver” came from asking myself how we can know the true intentions of others. Often we encounter the actions of others that masquerade as beneficial, but are actually lies. They may advertise themselves as one thing, but time eventually wears away at their facade and their true identity is shown. My hope for this sculpture is for it to serve as a reminder to be aware of the actions of yourself and those we surround ourselves with.
